Graceland University TRiO Grant Funded for Another Five Years

Graceland University is excited to continue the strong 37-year history Graceland has built with the SSS program. The new grant cycle will provide 1.5 million dollars over the next five years to provide program services to increase the retention and graduation rates of the 180 first-generation, low-income Graceland students served by the program.

Graceland University Awards Spectacular Scholarships

The $142,000 in scholarships given at Spec are announced at the end of the week-long camp and are available to students entering their senior year of high school and participating in Spec. Graceland University to Sponsor Free Red Cross Training

Leaders from Graceland’s Youth Launch Commission provided funding and made arrangements with local hospitals in the region to provide CPR classes at no cost to individuals willing to become certified. It is the hope of the Pettit family and Graceland University that many will take advantage of these training opportunities and help turn what could have been a tragedy for one family into a blessing for many.

Graceland University Announces New Social Media Marketing Major

The Social Media Marketing major at Graceland will include a unique combination of communications courses, business and marketing courses, and visual design courses aimed to ready students for jobs in the current real world. The major will serve as a progressive recruiting tool for admissions, drawing on the strengths of both the Graceland University C.H. Sandage School of Business and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
