Student Athletic Training Association
Who are we?
The Student Athletic Training Association (SATA) is a student run organization/club. The SATA participates in a variety of charitable, academic, and professional development activities.
Over the past few years the SATA has provided funds for student membership fees to the NATA, registration and hotel fees for professional convention, disaster relief for Hurricane Katrina, and food for SATA social functions. Each year the SATA also bestows a gift to the Athletic Training Major for future classes. Some of those gifts have included a digital projector and camera. The SATA is advised by Head Athletic Trainer, John Bartholomew.
Students declaring athletic training as their major are automatically eligible to join.
The Student Athletic Training Association at Graceland University provides a structured organization to promote education and career development for Athletic Training Students. The SATA promotes community within the organization and is committed to providing the best opportunities for success for its members.
