Helping Graceland continue its mission of providing learning communities where students develop their potential for meaningful and productive lives has become a passion for me since I joined the team in 2004. My name is Rick Isham and it is a pleasure for me to develop relationships with the Graceland family in the Independence and Kansas City metropolitan area. I also have the honor of developing new sources of funding for Graceland through Foundations and Corporate relations.

My wife, Sandy (King), and I attended Graceland University from 1978 through 1982. We have two sons, both of which are part of the Graceland community. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and went on to receive an M.B.A. from Rockhurst University. My career started in the technology industries, working for 17 years at Sprint in diverse areas such as information technology, network engineering, and marketing.

My years at Graceland were filled with fond memories of growing scholastically and spiritually. But most importantly, I was able to develop strong relationships with quality people that have been very meaningful throughout my life. Whether you attended Graceland or are a friend of the University, I hope that you can relate with the passion that I have for this institution.
