Paul Davis is a Baltimore, Maryland native who graduated from Graceland back in 1977. He lettered both for the Yellowjacket Football and Tennis teams. During his 4 memorable years on “The Hill”, he wrote for the Tower sports page and also met his future wife Evelyn Conrad of Houston, Texas.
Even though Paul majored in Sociology, he was able to break into the field of broadcasting working as a Radio Disc Jockey for a few years before making the switch to Television Sports Casting. Paul has made stops in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Bismarck, North Dakota, Lafayette, Louisiana, Albuquerque, New Mexico and for the past 9 years has worked as the Sports Director/Anchor for the CBS TV affiliate in Augusta, Georgia.
Over his 22 years in front of the camera, Paul Davis has won numerous awards for outstanding Local and National sports coverage. But he says he is most proud of being honored as Board Member of the Year for New Mexico Special Olympics after organizing a golf fundraising tourney that reeled in almost $10,000 for the kids.
Paul Davis and his wife Evelyn have been blessed with 5 children and wanted to slow down the pace of their lives by moving to Lamoni this fall. He is very excited about the chance to use his God given skills to better the future of the University he so proudly claims.
