All Graceland students are highly encouraged to complete at least one mock interview before going on their “professional” interviews. A mock interview can help give you the practice you need before the real event and will help you to improve your verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Mock Interviews are offered through the CAP Center. Students wishing to complete a mock interview have several options:
- Complete a videotaped or non-vidoetaped mock interview at the CAP Center with a Career Specialist.
- Arrange your own mock interview with a professional in the field. The CAP Center will provide your interviewer with a list of interviewing questions and an evaluation form.
- Complete a mock phone interview with a professional in your field. The CAP Center will provide the interview room as well as a toll free number.
If you are interested in any of these options please call the CAP Center to set up a time at least one week in advance. Resume and job description strongly encouraged.
