Summer Session 2007

REGISTER for Summer Session

Summer session at Graceland is designed to allow students to accelerate their degree completion program or to make-up deﬁciencies during a condensed time period. Courses will be offered during various time frames to accommodate student expressed interest. Most academic divisions will offer courses. Some courses will be offered subject to sufﬁcient enrollment.

Registration

Students should review the Schedule of Classes through MyInfo and register for the course of their choosing or indicate the course(s) they plan to enroll in by submitting the Class Schedule Form to their academic adviser or at InfoCentral in Patroness Hall starting March 21, 2007.

Enrollment

Lamoni students are considered ofﬁcially enrolled after registration is completed and all tuition/fees are paid. Final payment for summer session is due by May 24, 2007. Independence students will register at the Division of Nursing Ofﬁce during the ﬁrst day of class(es).

Financial Aid

Students should see their ﬁnancial aid adviser immediately concerning ﬁnancial aid for the summer.

Summer/Winter Terms

Information is available from the Special Programs Ofﬁce, 118 Patroness Hall. Many Internships and Individual Studies are available. Students seeking to complete a Winter Term in advance or to make-up a deﬁciency should contact the Special Programs Ofﬁce for assistance.

Housing
A limited number of rooms may be available on campus during the summer, on a ﬁrst-come, ﬁrst-served basis. Students should contact the Residence Life Ofﬁce immediately for details and/or to reserve a space.

Meals
Information regarding meals can be obtained from Food Service. Full food service is not available during selected times.

Social Activities
The sessions are designed to be educationally intensive. Social activities sponsored by the university will not be provided.

Costs - Independence Campus Nursing

Tuition	$	560.00	semester hour
NURSING WAIVER - Fees for required summer nursing courses will be waived for students as follows: Graceland University full-time attendees for two years prior to enrollment receive waiver of all required summer nursing course tuition. Graceland University full-time attendees for two semesters prior to enrollment receive waiver of three semester hours of required summer nursing course tuition.

Students will be responsible for their own housing arrangements and meals.
