Tower Apartments

The 10 unit apartment complex is located across the street from the main campus. One bedroom apartments are designed to assist married students and/or single parents. The Tower Apartments provide pleasant, well maintained on-campus housing at an affordable price.

Full-time student status or permission by the Office of Residence Life if part-time.

Married with spouse in residence, (with or without children).

Single parent with dependent minor children in residence.

Each apartment measures 32' by 16' with entrance into the living room area. The living room is 14' 6" by 16' with a coat closet that is 2' by 1'. The kitchen opens off the living room area and is furnished with an oven/stove, sink and a refrigerator. Opposite the kitchen is the bathroom equipped with a shower. The bedroom includes a large walk-in closet (5' by 11' x 9") and a built-in 10-drawer dresser. The living room and bedroom are carpeted. Drapes are not provided.

Guidelines and regulations govern room decor changes. As a general rule, walls, doors, ceilings and floors must remain unchanged. Products recommended for decorating your apartment are small staples for walls and ticky tac for doors.

Because of the limited apartments available, it is very important to get your name on our waiting list as soon as possible.

Before the lessee moves into the apartment, a signed lease agreement and a $100 deposit are required.

The Tower Apartment rent for the 2006-2007 school year is $300 per month. The rental fee includes all utilities, local telephone service, basic cable TV and internet access. On-site laundry facilities are available.

The rent is payable on enrollment day of each semester. If you do not plan to be in Lamoni but wish to leave your possessions in the apartment over the summer, only half the usual rent will be required.
