SUBJECT:
Re-employment
PURPOSE:
To establish a policy regarding re-hiring previous employees
POLICY:
Individuals applying for re-employment will be given the same consideration as other applicants for a position. If an individual was let go for performance reasons, they he/she can only be rehired with the approval of both the VP of the area and the Director of Human Resources.
PROCEDURE:
Re-employed individuals will have the same probationary period as all other employees in their job class. Fringe benefits will be based on the most recent date of hire. Consideration for previous service will be given only as may be required by law for the pension plan.
