Delinquent Accounts

Graceland University will place a hold on your account if it is past due. An account on hold prohibits registration, graduation, granting of credit, release of transcript, grades or diploma. Types of accounts that become delinquent often are account receivable (library fines, housing, parking ticket and infirmary fees), tuition fees and loan payments. Please note that loan payments are due on the first day of the month. If you fail to submit any payment on time your account becomes delinquent.

Delinquent Account Receivable
If you do not pay your bills from the Graceland University on time, you may be assessed a late fee. Account receivable charges three months past due are placed with a collection agency and collection costs will be added, increasing the amount owed.
Delinquent Tuition Fees
Tuition Fees not paid by the required deadline date will be assessed a late fee. Also, If fees are two months past due it will be placed with a collection agency and collection costs will be added, increasing the amount owed.
Delinquent Loans
Delinquent loans are assessed late penalties, collection costs and or litigation fees. Failure to pay loan obligations will increase the amount owed and create a negative report to the Credit Bureau.
