Accounts Payable Clerk
Graceland University has an open position for a full-time, 12-month Accounts Payable Clerk in Accounting Services. This position will maintain and manage the accounts payable function to timely record and pay university liabilities for expenses, payroll and other activity, manage internal expense processes, and reconcile multiple liability accounts, manage unclaimed property and sales tax activity, and make payments and reports to multiple states, prepare tax exempt and 1099 forms, and maintain a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Expectations also include problem resolution skills and accounting knowledge with accuracy and attention to detail in a demanding service environment, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines, while maintaining professional tact and confidentiality. Computer proficiency required. Two years post-secondary education or three years related experience and/or training is preferred. The applicant must be willing to undergo background and credit check.

Graceland University has a full-time Housekeeping position available in Gunsolley Hall (men’s residence hall) with the Facility Services Department on the Lamoni, Iowa campus. Minimum requirements: Basic knowledge of cleaning and must be physically able to bend, stoop, routinely lift 50 pounds and climb. Must be able to tolerate dust and some cleaning chemicals. Must be honest, dependable and friendly. Experience preferred.
