Admissions Representative

Graceland University is seeking an in-house Admissions Representative to work at the Independence, Missouri, campus. This position will be responsible for the recruitment of new students for both our online and Kansas City on-ground programs in education, nursing and business. The ideal candidate will have experience in a sales environment, possess an outgoing and persuasive personality, and have a passion for higher education. Most contact will be made with students who have requested information.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Strong telephone and computer skills are required. An occasional evening may be necessary. Please send cover letter and resume to dschaefe@graceland.edu.

 

After Hours Assistant

Graceland University has a full-time position available for an After Hours Assistant in Facility Services. This position will work evening/night and weekend hours throughout the year. Primary responsibilities are to answer phone calls, assist customers, lock/unlock doors, monitor equipment temperatures and operation, inspect buildings and campus surroundings and report findings.

Minimum qualifications: One year of job experience in a similar field is preferred. Manual dexterity is required, along with the ability to see, hear, smell, walk, climb stairs, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Excellent customer service, communication skills and professionalism are required. References are required upon application. A background check will be performed for the successful candidate.
