Assistant Professor of Sport Management

The C.H. Sandage School of Business at Graceland University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Sport Management. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position to begin August 2018. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Sport Management, but those with a master’s degree will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in the sports industry and a record of teaching and service that speaks to any or all of the three Sandage curriculum foundations: global awareness, ethics and entrepreneurship. 

Teaching responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load consisting of a wide range of sport management courses. In addition to normal service activities, the successful candidate will strive to find ways to advance the student experience through cooperative efforts with the Department of Athletics and the Division of Health and Movement Science.
