Graduate Nursing Faculty

Graceland University School of Nursing is seeking applications to fill full-time, 11-month contract graduate nursing faculty positions on the Independence, Missouri, campus to begin Jan. 1, 2015, for the spring term. The positions: Experienced Nurse Educator with advanced preparation in curriculum and instruction; Experienced Nurse Educator with advanced preparation in research and/or clinical scholarship.

The successful candidates will possess a master’s degree in nursing (MN, MSN), two years experience in clinical nursing, current license to practice professional nursing in Missouri and Iowa (current license in other states as required to supervise students in clinical rotations and/or additional approvals for advanced practice as required), academic preparation commensurate with the area in which they teach, weekly on-campus presence as required to fulfill faculty responsibilities. Graduate online teaching experience and/or doctoral preparation (DNP or PhD) in nursing or a related field is preferred.

School of Nursing FT and Adjunct Faculty

FT and Adjunct instructors with Adult Health/Critical Care/ Pediatric/OB expertise needed in the summer and fall 2015 in the on-ground BSN program. Required: master’s degree in nursing, two years experience in clinical nursing, state licensure. Previous teaching experience preferred. Assistant Professor of 2-D Art

Graceland University’s Division of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Art beginning fall semester of 2015. The ideal candidate will have a background in 2-D studio art and be prepared to teach foundations of drawing and design, and rotating courses in printmaking, painting and survey art history. Candidates with experience in graphic design, new media or digital art are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence and an active exhibition record. An MFA and a sincere commitment to undergraduate liberal arts teaching and service are required, along with a desire to innovatively update curriculum for a BA program in studio art.
