Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in 20th Century and Contemporary Anglophone Literature and Film Studies

Graceland University is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor in 20th century and contemporary Anglophone literature and film studies beginning August 2015 on the Lamoni, Iowa, campus. PhD required by August 2015. The 4/4 teaching load includes composition, core English courses and topics courses based on the candidate’s secondary interests that can appeal to both majors and non majors. Demonstrated teaching excellence and a commitment to undergraduate teaching and service are required.

Graduate Programs

Full-time faculty needed to teach in the master's and/or DNP online program beginning May 1, 2015. Required: Master’s degree in nursing; two years’ experience in clinical nursing; academic preparation commensurate with the area in which they teach; weekly on-campus presence required. Graduate online teaching experience and/or doctoral preparation (DNP or PhD) in nursing or a related field is preferred. Full-time and adjunct instructors with adult health/critical care/ pediatric/OB expertise needed in the summer and fall in the on-ground BSN program. Required: Master’s degree in nursing and two years clinical nursing experience. Previous teaching experience preferred. Assistant Professors of Sociology and Human Services

Graceland University seeks to fill an Assistant Professor  of Human Services position on the Lamoni, Iowa, campus, beginning August 2015.    4/4 teaching load. The position is responsible for courses including Social Welfare and Human Services, Methods and Ethics of Social Work Practice, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Social Welfare Programs and Policies, Theory and Practice of Counseling, Marriage and Family, and  a topics course.

The successful candidates will have demonstrated teaching excellence. A commitment to undergraduate liberal arts teaching and service is required. Willingness to explore interdisciplinary connections desired. Master’s degree required, PhD preferred.
