Graceland University has a position available for a full time Admissions Counselor on the Lamoni, Iowa, campus. This position will be focused on recruiting students in the visual and performing arts area.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in college admissions, counseling, public relations or marketing desired. Prefer experience in visual and/or performing arts. Must be self-motivated, results oriented, energetic, able to relate effectively to other people, able to manage multiple tasks, and have effective and persuasive public speaking and writing skills. Successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities: Responsible for recruitment activities in an assigned nationwide geographic territory using extensive telephone communication, electronic mail, social media, travel, hosting of campus visits and coordination with alumni and campus colleagues. Evening and weekend work required.
