Student Employment Coordinator

Graceland University is seeking a full-time, 12-month Student Employment Coordinator in Student Financial Services on the Lamoni, Iowa, campus. The Student Employment Coordinator is responsible for connecting student employees with job opportunities, keeping record of open and filled student positions, maintaining the Student Employment Handbook, monitoring student performance, managing budget expenditures, evaluating progress, counseling students and providing excellent customer service to students and supervisors.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, along with the ability to establish rapport with students and supervisors. Workplace is a student-friendly environment that requires a dedicated self starter. Previous experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, budgets and supervisory skills preferred. Expectations also include problem resolution, organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks all while maintaining professional tact and confidentiality. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent applicable experience preferred.
