Master of Education in Technology Integration

As part of your integrated technology training, you will evaluate tools already available within your classroom. In addition, you'll use web 2.0 technologies to create a plan that helps improve your students' skills. By using technology in the classroom, you can develop a more dynamic and powerful curriculum that can help you manage student behavior while stimulating, motivating and actively engaging students in learning.

This online Master's in Education program is based on the belief that you already have many of the tools that you need to effectively integrate technology into your classroom. Our curriculum can help you learn how to harness those technologies and satisfy your students' needs. This program meets National Education Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T) and National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS).
While participating in this program, you will complete eight required courses and two elective courses in one of two areas of study: Virtual Schools or Differentiated Instruction. Virtual Schools students will learn to effectively design and teach online courses, while Differentiated Instruction students learn how to design instruction for diverse learning styles.

During a two-year period, a cohort of teachers will participate in 30 semester hours of continuously sequenced course work. Students will present an action research project and a presentation to their peers.
