Independence Campus

For more than 40 years our nationally acclaimed School of Nursing has been based in Independence, Missouri. We offer a face-to-face BSN - RN Program and administer a wide selection of online programs. Sharing the Independence Campus is our School of Education which offers innovative face-to-face programs in both undergraduate and graduate education as well as a number of online Master’s programs. Independence is also home to the Community of Christ Seminary which is open to any denomination.

Complementing our long established programs in nursing and education, we now offer B.A. degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership. Classes are held at the Metropolitan Community College – Blue River Campus in Independence and at our Independence campus. Both programs are ideal for the degree completion seeking candidate with two or more years of college or prior Associates degree. Finally, we are home to the International Health Center through which our nursing students and alumni work to improve healthcare in rural Africa.
