Jackets Split On First Day of Tourney

Clinton, IA- The Lady Jackets are in Clinton, Iowa Friday and Saturday taking part in the Ashford University Invite. Graceland had two matches on Friday, going 1-1 on the day. In the opener the Jackets lost 3-1 to William Penn. In the 8:00 game however, Graceland took care of Mount Mercy winning easily 3-0. Coach McDole said following Friday’s action, “We played well in about three of our seven games tonight. It was a little inconsistent tonight, but we’ll look to build on this in day two tomorrow.” The Jackets continue play in Clinton tomorrow at the Ashford Invite.
