The Lady Jackets came out ready to play in their home opener this evening vs. the Park University Pirates. “We knew we had to control the first ball all night.” Coach McDole said following the contest. “What an incredible team effort it was tonight. We got down a little in the third game 19-10 I believe. We called timeout focused on our game plan, and came firing right back. Just a team effort tonight.” McDole concluded with. The Jackets played the kind of volleyball tonight that McDole’s teams are known for, fundamentally sound and aggressive from start to finish. The Lady Jackets have a few days to recoup and recharge their batteries before they head back on the road next Tuesday to take on Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas.
