Lamoni, IA-The #3 ranked Men's Soccer team defeated #17 Park University Saturday night 3-2. With this win Graceland improves it’s record to an impressive 6-0-1 on the season. Brett Porter (Raytown, Mo) opened the scoring in the 13th minute after combining with Filip Prostran (Oakville, Ont). In the 22nd minute Kevin Souter(Aberdeen, Scotland) gave Graceland a two goal lead after tapping in a throw in sent by Brain Loving (St. Joseph, Mo). Graceland rounded out the scoring in the first half as Matt Klaus (Kearney, Mo) headed in a Kevin Souter cross. Park responded in the 60th and 75th minute but could not break through a tough and disciplined Graceland defense to even the score. Graceland travels to Missouri Valley this Wednesday to play its first conference game of the season.
