Graceland University Alumni work in a variety of settings across the nation. Every year current athletic training students and alumni meet at the NATA convention for an alumni dinner. Alumni are held in high regard and often keep frequent contact with the faculty and staff.
Prior to the 2005 CAAHEP-accreditation of the athletic training major, graduates pursued athletic training certification-eligibility through the internship route. Those graduating before 2005 are internship graduates, with curriculum graduates beginning in 2005. The small class sizes provided a motivating and effective learning environment. The hands-on training I received at Graceland University would be hard to replace.
