NWMSU Bearcat Invitational
Maryville, MO-The Yellowjacket golf team was well represented by Senior Krista Woodend (Woodstock, ONT) and Sophomore Carolina Fonseca (Bogota, Colombia). Determined to fight back the rain, cold and wind, the lady golfers shot good scores for the conditions. Woodend fired a 182 (88-94) and finished in 16th place overall while Fonseca shot 192 (95-97). "Both ladies played very well under the conditions," stated Coach Brunner. "These two will anchor our team in the spring and we will add a few others to round out a good team. I appreciate the dedication and effort of the women to play in the tough conditions on a tough course."
Next up for the ladies is the Avila Invitational.
