Lindenwood Invitational
St. Louis, MO-The Yellowjacket golf team played against a tough field in the Lindenwood Invitational. Several of the teams have played at the national tournament. "This was an excellent measuring stick for our team," stated Coach Brunner. "We should have played better but I think it was a great experience for our young team." The Yellowjackets finished 18 in the 20 team field shooting 1011 (338-331-340). The first day concluded before all 36 holes could be completed and so the conclusion of the first day was played at the beginning of the second day. The weather was very windy with gusts up to 30 mph.
Individual scores were led by Senior Adam Craig (Stouffville, ONT) who fired 246 (84-77-85), Junior Matt Mickelson (Lamoni, IA) shot 248 (81-82-85), Sophomore Trent Ranney (Lamoni, IA) scored 257 (84-88-85), Sophomore Tim Redding (Grand River, IA) managed a 258 (89-84-85) and Sophomore Mikhail Ziskos (East York, ONT) hit the ball 270 times (95-89-86).
