Men's Results | Women's Results
Des Moines, IA-The GU men's and women's cross country teams place 5th and 4th respectively with strong personal efforts at Grand View Invite in Des Moines.
Junior standout Neil Grundman (Croswell, MI) won the men's eight kilometer competition with a time of 25:25, while sophomore Ahmed Khalif (Hamilton, ON) finished shortly behind in 3rd place (27:10).
For the women, a strong team performance was lead by freshman Jami Ruckman (Independence, MO) with a five kilometer time of 21:15, good enough for 15th overall.
In another Jacket related note, alum runner Joseph Aulwes ('04) finished 5th in the men's race as an independent.
