William Jewell Invitational
Liberty, MO-Graceland Sophomore Mikhail Ziskos (East York, ONT) was able to play 6 holes and was 2-under par but then the horn sounded to clear the course. "Mikhail was playing well and it was hard for him to let the round ‘wash out' of his hands. I hope he can continue to perform as well as he did in that 6 hole stretch," commented Coach Brunner. "This is the first time since I started coaching in 2001 that we have been unable to finish a tournament that was started." The rain came slowly and eventually lightening came also. After waiting for over 2 hours the tournament was finally called because the weather was not clearing.
Next up for the Yellowjackets is the William Penn Invitational on September 24.
