Lamoni, IA-The Jacket football team showed their renewed dedication to team unity as they gathered on Huntsman field all day Saturday. In an effort to clean up the area around the Bruce Jenner Sports Complex, the entire team, coaching staff and support staff did everything from pull weeds to tear out the old chain link fence on the west side of the football field. The new look will allow for Graceland's new marketing trailer to park on the hill and for the Graceland community to enjoy tailgate parties before home games.
The Jacket football team opens play for the season in Lamoni against William Jewell College at Huntsman Field on Saturday, September 12th at 6pm.
