Honolulu, HI-Head Men's Volleyball Coach Chad McDole along with Assistant Carlos Hernandez are recruiting the Hawaiian Islands hard this month. They would like to announce the signing of Toshi Nakasone of Honolulu, HI.
Nakasone attends Mid-Pacific Institute where he is actively involved in both men's volleyball and traditional Hawaiian dance. Toshi has played HS volleyball for four years and is a member of the club volleyball team Ku'ikahi. At Graceland he'll be a defensive specialist even though he played some outside hitter in high school.
"Toshi is going to bring passion to our program," stated Coach Hernandez from Oahu, Hawaii. "He has a strong sense of devotion to his team and his family. On the court he gives his all, and encourages others to do the same. He is a very involved in extra curricular activities and will make a great addition to the Hui O' Hawaii club on campus," concluded Hernandez.
Graceland congratulates Toshi on his decision to become a Yellowjacket and we can't wait to get him on campus next fall!
