Marshall, MO-The Graceland men's and women's tennis teams headed to Marshall, Missouri this afternoon to compete in the HAAC conference tournament. The men's team, as they've done all season, advanced easily into tomorrow morning's championship match with Lindenwood University by defeating William Jewell, 5-0. The women had a nice run early in the day beating Evangel 5-1 but then fell in the semi-finals 5-3 to Missouri Valley College, ending their season. The women's team had a great ride but will immediately begin preparing for next season.
As previously stated, the men's team will next play in the HAAC championship match tomorrow morning with Lindenwood University. The winner will receive an automatic berth into the NAIA national tournament. Stay tuned to the Graceland athletics website for continuing coverage of the men's tennis team as they move towards the national tourney.
