Box Game 1 | Box Game 2
Lamoni, IA-The Graceland softball team was finally able to get their games in with Evangel as they've dodged forecasted rain all morning. In game one, conference leading Evangel jumped out to an early lead on the Jackets and was victorious 6-1, backed by three homeruns. The Graceland lone tally came in the fourth inning on Maria Barwigs' (Surrey, British Columbia) solo shot. The homer was one of only two Graceland hits in the game.
In game two the Crusaders started the game off scoring two in the first and never looked back, defeating the Jackets 9-4.
Graceland now stands at 6-25 overall and 2-12 in HAAC play. The Jackets are next scheduled to play (weather pending) tomorrow afternoon in Lamoni at 2pm in a double header against Baker University.
