Lamoni, IA-The Graceland softball team is proud to announce the signing of Lamoni High School female multi-sport star, Whitney Carrall. Whitney is the daughter of Tom and Connie Carrall and has three sisters, all older. She has been a star shortstop for the Demons in four consecutive seasons.
Carrall, who will be attending Graceland this fall, has earned a litany of athletic awards in both basketball and softball during her high school days. Whitney has received all-conference, all-district and all-state honors in both sports. As well as her athletic accolades, Carrall has also been on the honor roll at LHS.
"It's always great when you can keep someone with the talent of Whitney, who has built her roots in this community, at home," stated assistant coach Jeff Douglas. "We're very excited to have her on our team. We think she's the type of player that can get us to the championship level in our conference. We look forward to some exciting years with Whitney on the team," finished Douglas.
Graceland congratulates Whitney and is excited to have her on campus this fall!
