Springfield, MO-The baseball team has started to come out of their early season slump. After starting then season 2-14 including a thirteen game losing streak the Jackets are starting to turn things around at the right time as the enter the core of HAAC play.
They've now won four of their last seven games including today's split with the Evangel Crusaders. Graceland won game one 7-1 backed by Koa Kaleo's (Pearl City, HI) complete game and a two run blast by star first baseman Samuel Felman (Guayaquil, Ecuador). In game two the Jackets were competitive but couldn't pull it out in the end falling, 6-5.
The Jackets now stand at 6-17 overall and 4-6 in HAAC play. They next face MidAmerica Nazarene this Friday in Lamoni in a double header scheduled for 1:00pm.
