Lamoni, IA-Senior outside hitter Kevin Allison (Elgin, IL) has been named National Player of the week by the MAMVIC.
"Kevin was unstoppable last week against Hannibal Le-Grange," stated Coach McDole about the honor. "He took every situation including bad ones and turned them into good situations. Kevin made very smart decisions and showed very good leadership. Kevin is a natural leader and is very confident in himself and his teammates. We can always rely on Kevin to be successful," continued McDole.
"Austin ran a good offense last week. He spread the ball around and created success at every position. It was a fun match for everyone especially Austin. It is fun to have the opportunity to spread the ball around to all your hitters knowing that they can put the ball away for you. It is a great thing to have a setter doing well. That means your passing is good and your hitters are successful. We had the whole package against Hannibal last week," ended Coach McDole.
