Kearney, MO-The women's volleyball team would like to announce the signing of another top-notch athlete committed to the Jacket volleyball program. Jamie Jackson of Kearney, Missouri will be on campus next fall to begin the preseason with the women's volleyball team. Jamie is the daughter of Jim and Tracy and she has one sibling, Sammie.
Jackson, who attended Kearney high school and was a former teammate of current Jacket Hannah Smart, was a four time all-conference performer at her high school as a dominate outside hitter. Not only does Jackie excel on the volleyball court but also in the classroom. Jamie has been on the A honor roll at Kearney high school as well as a member of the prestigious K club.
"Jamie is the second in what we hope is a long line of quality student-athletes from Kearney to join our program," stated an excited Coach McDole. "She brings good size and athleticism to the court. She is a physical athlete who plays with passion and a smile on her face. Her playing experience is at both middle and outside either of which fit well with our future needs. Jamie is a 4 year All-Conference performer in high school. We might hope for similar success at Graceland. She is excited to come and we are excited have her," concluded McDole.
Along with the women's volleyball program, Graceland University is excited to have Jamie and we look forward to seeing her on campus next fall.
