Atchison, KS-The men's basketball team was looking for the season sweep Monday night in Atchison, KS against the Benedictine Ravens. Monday however wasn't the Jackets night as they fell 79-64 to Benedictine.
Three Jackets finished the evening in double figures. Senior center Simon Morefield (Independence, MO) ended the night with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Besides Morefield, guard tandem Jewel Carter (Kansas City, MO) added 12 and Jonothan Carter (Colorado Springs, CO) had 10.
The Jackets now stand at 5-22 overall and 2-15 in HAAC play. Graceland will face Culver Stockton College at 7:30 pm in Lamoni this Thursday evening. Stay tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage of the mens' basketball team and all of Jacket athletics.
