Atchison, KS-The Jackets were in Atchison, KS Monday evening after a quick turn around from their trip to St. Charles on Saturday. Facing the Benedictine Ravens who are currently tied for second in the conference, the Jackets suffered through a rough night. Benedictine beat the Jackets Monday 89-57 controlling the game from start to finish.
Freshman Kendra Beagle (Liberty, MO) had a career game Monday in the loss. Beagle scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Junior Quannika Horne (Lansing, MI) added 11.
The Jackets now stand at 4-18 overall and 2-15 in HAAC play. They'll face the Culver Stockton Wildcats in Lamoni this Thursday at 5:30 pm. Stay tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage of the women's basketball and all of Jacket athletics.
