St. Charles, MO-The women's basketball team is coming off of their second conference win of the season Thursday night over MidAmerica. On the road for one of their longest road trips of the year, Graceland was in St. Charles, MO Saturday afternoon looking to make it two in a row in conference play against the Lindenwood Lions (13-12, 8-8). The Jackets played a solid 40 minutes today but weren't able to pull it out falling 84-75.
The Jackets were led once again by the solid play of senior forward Katie Lemburg (Modesto, CA). Lemburg ended the afternoon with a game high 23 points and added 9 boards to go along with it. Senior center Jenna Butler (Albion, IA) added 13 and Kendyl Rizea (Windsor, Ontario) added 12.
The Jackets will head to Atchison, KS on Monday evening for a game against the Benedictine Ravens at 5:30. Graceland now stands at 4-17 overall and 2-14 in HAAC play. Stay tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage on the women's basketball team and all of Graceland athletics.
