Lamoni, IA-The Jackets football team is retooling during the offseason looking to get back on track during the 2009 season. Listed below are some of the recruits that will be attending Graceland next year.
Patrick Treece (5'10 - 195)- Mound City, Mo. Missouri 8-man player of the year. Treece is a two time all state running back & linebacker. He helped lead his team to the 2008 8 man Missouri state championship.
Isaiah Williams ( 6'3 - 270) - Is from Birmingham, Alabama. He is a transfer Defensive Lineman from Iowa Central Comm. Coll.
Hassan Khalifa - (6'5 - 293) - Khalifa is from Coralville, IA and is a transfer Defensive Lineman from Iowa Central Comm. College.
Mario Pecina - (5'9 - 170) - Raytown, MO, Raytown High School. Mario will play WR for the Yellowjackets next fall.
Deon Luckett - (5'9 - 255) - Hope Academy High School in Chicago. Luckett is a Transfer Offensive Lineman from College of Dupage.
Dean Kwiatkowski- 6'2 290 Defensive Lineman from Worth, Illinois. Dean attends Amos Alonzo Stagg High School.
Monty White- Otway, Ohio.
Xavier Jackson: Champaign, Illinois, Xavier attends Centennial High School. Xavier Jackson is a 6'1 240 offensive lineman who has also been selected to play in a Central Illinois All star Football game in June.
Jhamari Coleman: Decatur, Illinois, Jhamari attends MacArthur High School. He is 5'8 195 Strong Safety. He has been selected to play in a Central Illinois All Star Football game in June.
Lorenzo Sallis: Decatur, Illinois, Lorenzo attends MacArthur High School. He is 6'4 185 Defensive Back. He will also run track for Graceland University.
Ryan Hughes: Decatur, Ryan is a 6'0" linebacker from McKinney, Texas who has the rare combination of speed and strength. Hughes weighs in at 210 pounds and runs a sub 4.6, 40 yard dash.
Markell Province: Is a 6'3, 329 pound offensive lineman from Iowa Central College. Markell is from Plano, Texas.
