Lamoni, IA-Jacket men's volleyball star Austin Isham (Leewood, KS) has been named national setter of the week for week three. Isham is a senior setter on the 5-2 ninth ranked men's volleyball team.
Austin averaged 12.41 assists per game last week at the Lindenwood Invitational in St. Charles, Mo. Austin helped us to a 3-1 record with our only loss to the #7 team in the country. Our offense was very successful at Lindenwood, largely due to our passing and Austin running a good offense and making good decisions. Austin took control and moved the ball around well. This made us unpredictable. Austin is also an outstanding leader on this team, which is exactly what you want from your setter. I am very proud of Austin and our team, this was a team effort!
Graceland University congratulates Isham on this tremendous honor.
