Fayette, MO-The men's basketball team continued their grueling stretch of games this afternoon. It didn't get any easier in the always difficult HAAC on Saturday as the Jackets were in Fayette, MO to take on the 21-3 Central Methodist Eagles. CMU is enjoying one of their finest seasons in recent history and took care of Graceland by a final of 82-57.
The Jackets had two in double figures on the afternoon as Jewel Carter (Kansas City, KS) continued his hot play scoring 20. Simon Morefield (Independence, MO) added 15 and snared 9 in the loss.
The Jackets now stand at 5-19 overall and 2-12 in conference play. The Jackets will face MidAmerica Nazarene this Thursday in Lamoni at 7:30pm. Stay tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage of the men's basketball team and all of Jacket athletics.
