Lamoni, IA-The men's volleyball team opened their season at home Friday night with a 3-0 victory over Hannibal LaGrange College. On Saturday, the Jackets hosted the GU Invitational in the Closson Center which was composed of nine teams from around the Midwest. Graceland played strong in the tournament finishing third with an overall record of 2-2. At the time of release stats were not available for the GU Invite, only Friday's match.
Since Saturday's tournament will not count on the Jackets official record list, Graceland stands at 1-0 on the season with Friday's win over Hannibal LaGrange. Tuesday evening the Jackets will travel to Missouri Valley to take on the Vikings at 7:00 pm.
