Liberty, MO-The football team was on the road Saturday trying to notch their second win of the season. Facing a William Jewell team that has had their struggles this season too, Graceland tallied the first touchdown of the game in the first quarter but was unable to score after that losing 21-7.
The Jackets only score was on a touchdown scamper by fullback Donald Clark (Orlando, FL) in the first quarter giving Graceland the early 7-0 advantage. William Jewell however would answer with a touchdown of their own in the second, third and fourth quarters finishing off the victory.
The Jackets now stand at 1-8 overall and will finish out their season next Saturday at home against Evangel University. Kickoff time is slated for 1:00pm. Stay tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage of the football team and all of Jacket athletics.
