Olathe, KS-The men's basketball team is still feeling their way through the very competitive Heart of America Athletic Conference season. After starting the conference season 0-4 before Christmas break, things didn't get much easeir for the men's basketball team facing the always difficult MidAmerica Nazarene Pioneers. Graceland played a solid defensive game but their offensive woes continue as they suffered their fifth conference loss of the season 76-49. The Jackets now fall to 3-12 overall and 0-5 in HAAC play.
"It's frustrating to continue to lose," stated Coach Hamilton after the game. "I promise you however, there will not be a game all season that this team doesn't leave everything they've got on the floor. Defensively we continue to get after it and that's what we're going to have to focus on as we continue to improve," concluded Hamilton.
The Jackets will host Lindenwood University in Lamoni this Saturday (January 10th) at 4pm. Stay tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage of the men's basketball team and all of Jacket athletics.
