Lamoni, IA-On the first real cold afternoon in Lamoni of the fall, the women's soccer team found themselves in battle. Facing a very good Bellevue University team who came in 8-1, Graceland dominated the game offensively but couldn't get a shot to go.
The game would go clear into the second overtime before junior Shay Eskridge (Rowlett, TX) scored a goal off of a rebound from a free kick in the 107th minute. The score gave Graceland their 10th win on the season running their overall record to 10-0-1.
The #8 women's soccer next plays homecoming weekend in Lamoni. The Jackets will face Culver Stockton College at 5pm inside of the Rasmussen Sports Complex. Stay in tuned to the Jacket athletics website for continuing coverage on the women's soccer team and all of Jacket athletics.
