Lamoni, IA-The women's volleyball team hit the ditches of Highway 69 on Sunday afternoon for their annual trash pickup event. A few years back Head Women's Volleyball Coach Stew McDole and his team adopted the portion of the highway between the sale barn and Interstate 35. Ever since then during preseason, the team has set aside a couple of hours to pitch in and do their part to give back to the community of Lamoni that gives them so much.
"This is an annual event that allows us to provide the community of Lamoni with our time and efforts to help keep it beautiful," stated Coach McDole follwing the event. "This has been a great program for our team and something we'll continue to do for years to come," concluded McDole.
