5 Jackets Garner All-Conference Honors

Lamoni, IA-The 2008 HAAC All-Conference Baseball team was announced Wednesday afternoon. Five players on the 19-28 Jackets received the honor, four were named to the first team. Senior outfielder Angel Suarez (Vieques, PR), Junior outfielder Sean Smith (St. Mary's, IA), junior first baseman Samuel Felman (Guayquil, Ecuador) and junior outfielder Brian Contreras (San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico) all garnered first team accolades. Junior third baseman Jared Witten (McAlester, OK) was honored with honorable mention all-conference honors.
