Ottumwa, IA-The Yellowjackets golf team was rained out on day one of the Indian Hills Invitational. In order to make the full tournament the coaches decided to play 36 holes in one day. The course was soggy but the play was good. Sophomore Adam Craig (Stouffville, ONT) led the Jackets by shooting four rounds of 38 (76-76 152). "Adam has been a consistent performer for us all year long. He is a great asset to the team and he will continue to lead the team by his dedication to the game and excellence in his performance," said Coach Brunner. Freshmen Matt Mickelson (Lamoni, IA) shot 84-78 (162), Freshmen Brad Miller (Three Oaks, MI) fired a 84-94 (178), Sophomores Sam Chester (Phoenix, AZ) 92-91 (183) and Brock Goodman (Lathrop, MO) 89-94 (183). The 36 hole tournament prepared the Yellowjackets for the 36 hole opening day of the conference/regional tournament to be held April 24.
