Fortunately Saturday, even under far from optimal weather conditions, the track athletes were able to get a meet in as they participated in the Dick Young Classic on the campus of Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.

The men finished in 13th place overall out of a 20 team field scoring 13.5 team points. It's been a very difficult season for the men's track team as they have had to battle injuries throughout the spring. The women didn't fare much better than the men as they finished in 12th place scoring 19.0 points on the afternoon.
The Jacket track athletes have been trying to gear up for their push to the conference tournament which is slated to be held in Fayette, Missouri next Friday & Saturday, April 25-26th. This will be the Jackets last opportunity to get their qualifying times and scores in for the National Tournament in St. Louis next month.
