The first day of competition at the Park University Invitational was the best weather of the spring season. The ladies played well and posted good scores for the opening rounds of competition for the new season. Freshmen standout Natalia Renjifo (Bogota, Colombia) shot 83 and was only 5 shots off the medalist pace. Sophomore Krista Woodend (Woodstock, ONT) did not play well shooting 98. Junior Christy Everett shot 105. Playing in their first collegiate match Freshmen Kelsey Booth (Parkville, MO) shot 115 and Junior Bethany Garchar (Brentwood, CA) scored a 153. The team total of 401 was the first Yellowjacket team total of the season.
