Lamoni, IA- Pitching was at a premium on Monday afternoon as the Jackets hosted William Jewell College of Liberty, MO.  Game one, the Jackets played the Cardinals to a  5-5 tie through 7 innings.  However, in the eighth inning, the Cardinals put up a crooked number scoring eight and ran away with the game 13-5.

Game two didn't get a whole lot better for the Jackets.  The bats got hot but unfortunately the pitching struggled to hold William Jewell down and Graceland was swept falling in game two, 18-10.

Tuesday afternoon Graceland headed down to Liberty looking to exact revenge.  Unfortunately, Graceland ran into the same hitting buzz saw they had seen the day before.  Jewell swept Graceland Tuesday winning game 1 10-7, and winning game 2 10-2.

The Jackets face Baker University in Lamoni this Saturday afternoon.  First pitch is slated for 1:00 pm.
