April 1, 2008 A balanced scoring effort led the Yellowjackets to a good finish at the Simpson Invitational. Sophomore Adam Craig (Stouffville, ONT) led the Jackets shooting 80 and received an 8th place medal for his finish. The rest of the team was within 2 shots of Adam as the team scored on one of its most balanced rounds of the season. Sophomore Sam Chester (Phoenix, AZ) shot 81 and Freshmen Brad Miller (Three Oaks, MI) and Freshmen Matt Mickelson (Lamoni, IA) both shot 82. Sophomore Brock Goodman (Lathrop, MO) shot 95. The team score of 325 was good enough for a third place finish. "The score showed that the team can continue to improve. I try to keep them focused on constant improvement as they prepare for the conference tournament at the end of April," stated Coach Brunner. Next up is the Grand View Invitational.
