Lamoni, IA-Jacket baseball first baseman Samuel Felman (Guayaquil, Ecuador) was named HAAC and Region V player of the week for the week of March 24-31. Felman hit .560 for the week; had fourteen hits, four singles, six doubles, two triples, and two homeruns. He also knocked in eleven RBIs to go along with two walks, and two stolen bases. Felman played an important part in Graceland's strong week of play especially in taking three or four games from the #19 ranked Avila Eagles.
The Jackets next game is scheduled for this Thursday in Des Moines versus Grandview College. Graceland is scheduled to start play at 2:00 pm.
