Liberty, MO-The Graceland men's and women's tennis teams have been on a tear this spring. Going into today's conference match vs. William Jewell the men were 9-1 and the women were 5-2. Add a win to each of their win columns as they both continued their fantastic play. The men defeated the arch rival Cardinals of William Jewell 9-0 and the women won 8-1 breaking their string of three straight 9-0 victories. Still, these were very big wins for both the men and women.
"These are great wins for our teams," Coach Hampton said after the match. "Both teams have really hit their strides of late and have improved as the seasons gone on," Hampton concluded.
The men's tennis team next plays Thursday in Lamoni against Missouri Valley in a conference tilt. The women play on Monday vs. McKendree College in Lamoni.
